$195 plus $40 for material fee to be paid to the instructor at the start of class
In this 4 week mixed media course, we will playfully explore the rich potentials of a wide range of mixed media materials and techniques. We'll create a variety of papers using printing techniques, paint, pastels and brayers. These papers will be transformed into a book, paintings, and collages. As we explore, we will be learning about the principles of color, design, and composition.
Participants will need to bring:
- an apron
- an apron
- a soft brayer (Speedball brand is best)
- a good pair of paper scissors
- a good pair of paper scissors
- Matt medium and/or a Uhu glue stick
- any miscellaneous mixed media materials you have on hand such as acrylic paint, pencil crayons, inks, pastels, stencils and stamps
- any miscellaneous mixed media materials you have on hand such as acrylic paint, pencil crayons, inks, pastels, stencils and stamps
- any brushes, palette knives and/or tools for applying paint
All classes and workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made 7 days, or more in advance of the workshop or class date will receive 100% credit. 6 days before class, and no credit will be issued
