Get your gift-giving creativity happening, by designing and hand pressing your unique imagery on to T-shirts (or some other items) like tote bags, neck scarves or cotton tops, etc etc..... You will be bringing your fabric
items to print on to, with textile inks. How many can you print in 3 hours?
This workshop is meant to inspire you with a few textile applications for you to further navigate and continue on, in your personal space. Kitchen counters, dining tables, work just fine for a "Studio" work space. Get everyone in on the act for a group "holiday activity" once you have learned the basics in this workshop.
Nature printing with (botanical flora and fauna) collected by you beforehand as well as low relief objects. Examples would be (shells, wood grains, fruits and vegetables). Styrofoam cut-outs inked and pressed into the fabric surface will be made into designs and lettering concepts (always to be prepared backward ...ha ha...printmaking is in reverse imagery when printed). It would be good to have a few ideas sketched out, before class.
All inks and printing tools are included.
Extra supplies can be purchased during class.

All your items to be printed are supplied by you.
(new or used will work) prewashed is recommended.
All classes and workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made 7 days, or more in advance of the workshop or class date will receive 100% credit. 6 days before class, and no credit will be issued.
