$225.00 plus $35 material fee to be paid to the instructor at the start of the first class

In this 2-day workshop, students will be introduced to Photo Etching, or more precisely Photo Polymer Etching.

This printing practice uses steel plates which are coated with ultraviolet light sensitive photo polymer. This is a safe, fast, and simple alternative to traditional etching. All that is needed is imagination, and a UV exposure unit and tap water to develop the image.

Students will explore various ways to create unique plates and prints.

Materials such as inks, brayers and plates (2.75" x 4") and paper will be provided. Materials cost of $35, please bring on the first day of the workshop.

Please also bring an apron or smock, gloves (latex or similar) and your images to work from, slightly larger than 2.75" x 4".

All classes and workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made 7 days, or more in advance of the workshop or class date will receive 100% credit. 6 days before class, and no credit will be issued.
