Mixed Media Collage with Janice Hofman

Explore a variety of mixed media techniques and mediums you can add to your art practice!

In this workshop, you will make a simple journal from recycled substrates and found objects to include in your mixed media practice or journaling, as well as making some of your own tools from ordinary everyday objects.

Explore mark-making, stamps, mono-printing, stencils and collage to add depth, texture and interest to your work.  Add words, poetry and your own expressions to capture and express your thoughts and feelings.

All skill levels welcome.  Some materials provided

About Janice Hofman:

Janice Hofman, a Mixed media artist, instructor and maker of things is known for distinctive mark-making, vibrant colours and unique patterns. She has a playful, thoughtful approach to art-making. She explores a variety of mediums and substrates, often using collage, recycled and alternative materials in her abstract pieces and art journals.
