Learn everything you need to consider when making a documentary film in this intensive one-day workshop. We will go over how one plans, writes, films, edits and finances a documentary. Emphasis will be on content and storytelling, rather than on the technical aspects of filmmaking. This course is suitable for students who are making or planning to make a documentary.

About the teacher:

Sylvie Peltier is the President and Founder of Red Letter Films, a production company specializing in documentary television. Over the past 25 years, she has produced, as well as directed and/or written over 35 productions, of which several have won prizes and received honourable mentions.
