Homeschoolers Mixed Media Painting Classes for Kids with Juli Rockliff
May 8, 15, 29 and June 5
9am-12 pm
Ages 5-10
Kids can join Juli in an art class where a carefree attitude toward art and creating translates into a loose and fun atmosphere. Students are immersed in imaginative play and creative centres while listening to music so kids can learn how to paint with acrylics and make textured paintings, sculpt with air dry clay, make crafts, learn watercolour resist techniques, collage, learn how to make mosaics with painted paper and much more. They can experiment and find the mediums they love, learning skills that easily develop into making art at home that can inspire a lifelong love of art. Kids will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere where they can create and engage with their inner artist.
Exploring mixed media will allow your child to express themselves and find the mediums they find most interesting while encouraging their creativity and learning skills they can use to make art at home.
This will be messy, so please bring an old shirt or apron, a snack and a water bottle.
When the weather allows we take breaks at the park.
Art supplies are included in the course. Classes are $150.
