The Doctor has treated crowds of parties from the snow peaks of British Columbia and the Swiss Alps to smokey jazz bars in Paris, France, from Hawaii to Keffalonia, Greece, and many places in between.

DOC has played with many musical greats including CHUCK BERRY, JOHN LEE HOOKER, DAVID GILMOUR ( PINK FLOYD ), MILLAR ANDERSON ( T-REX), PHIL DWYER, TOM KEENLYSIDE, RITA COOLIDGE, KRIS KRISTOFFERSON, FRANK ZAPPA, DAVID CLAYTON-THOMAS ( BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS ), MISSISSIPPI JOHN HURT, MISSISSIPPI FRED MCDOWELL, JIMMY WITHERSPOON, STEVIE WINWOOD ( TRAFFIC ), LOWELL FULLSON, CHARLIE MUSSELWHITE, BO DIDDLEY, JIM BYRNES, LEE OSCAR, IAN PACE ( DEEP PURPLE ).
In his own words, DOC plays ‘a little bit of everything and a whole lot of nothing’In one set his repertoire may include a be-bop jazz tune, some modern jazz, rock and roll, Latin sambas, original ballads, some pop songs, blues, country and swing.
You never know what songs DOC will pick out of his extensive song-list of over a thousand numbers that cover a 70 year period of musical history, but you can be sure that it will be different every night.
DOC FINGERS BAND Has played the KINSALE FRINGE JAZZ FESTIVAL ( 1992-2014 every year ), THE CORK JAZZ FESTIVAL ( 7 times ), the VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL, and a residency at the PENDER HARBOUR JAZZ FESTIVAL ( 2003-2016 every year )
DOC FINGERS is the “skiing piano player” has played for many years in top ski resorts, including WHISTLER BC (1976-present), SWISS RESORTS GSTAAD, SCHONREID, CHATEAU D’OEX, VERBIER, ST MORITZ, WENGEN, and the incredible PINK ELEPHANT BAR in the HOTEL POST in ZERMATT
DOC was the piano player for the IOC (INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE) at the Olympic Games in the IOC VIP PRIVATE MEMBERS LOUNGE, performing in this capacity for the duration of the OLYMPIC GAMES in LILLEHAMMER 1994, ATLANTA 1996, NAGANO JAPAN 1998, SYDNEY 2000, and SOCHI 2014
