He relocated to the west coast and now lives in Courtenay in the beautiful Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDavid started drawing at a young age and began a serious interest in photography while still in grade school. He began painting in acrylics and oils about twenty years ago. He has a BSc from the University of Alberta and has taken art related courses and workshops from many talented instructors in Canada, the UK, USA and France.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHis award winning artwork has appeared in magazines, books and on web sites and has been exhibited in galleries in Canada, the United States, Switzerland and the UK. He has also received arts grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
