About Bill Pukesh – Qualicum Beach, BC  - Grizzly Bear Toys and Stuff

Bill Pukesh is a retired woodworking teacher, who specializes in creating functional artwork using local woods including arbutus, maple, and yew.  The artwork is finished with Tungue Oil or a beeswax/mineral oil blend. Both finishes are food safe and water repellant.

Bill proudly states all his wood is slowly kiln dried, which reduces the moisture content and makes the wood less likely to warp or crack. Therefore, his creations will hold their beauty for a very long time.

Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Wood can be re-oiled with olive oil, as needed.
