About: Mary Jennings – Bowser, BC
Born in the UK and educated at a girls’ school, Mary Jennings has been knitting since she was only three years old. “It’s a part of British culture,” she says.
In addition to knitting, painting, and baking bread, Mary hand spins wool with a focus on natural fibres, including alpaca and island wool. Her love of colour is evident in her handknitted collection.
She loves the islands impressive coastline and resides with her daughter in Bowser, British Columbia.
