The daughter of fibre and ceramic artist Melvyn Malkin, Anna has spent several years in the film industry in post-production sound and video editing.
Her return to working with clay is a welcome change from her computer-centric video work. “Getting my hands dirty again is very satisfying,” she says.
She has been creating Raku sheep since 2008. She lives in Victoria and has a raku studio on Hornby Island.
