Join Megan, of The Gathered Isle, for series of action packed, colourful and creative afternoons at "After School Art Class" for kids

Each week will feature a different theme, and will explore different artistic techniques and materials, whilst also introducing the kids to prominent artists.

These are classes have an emphasis on experimenting and enjoying the process, rather than focusing on a polished final product.


Teacher profile
Megan Riera moved to Europe from Qualicum Beach in 1999, and recently returned to her hometown of Qualicum Beach. Whilst living in the UK, she obtained a first class BA Hons degree in Design for Moving Image and has had a career spanning several disciplines; motion design, graphic design and calligraphy. Megan has a passion for all things ‘creative’ and jumps at the chance to try out new practices - from paper marbling, printmaking, origami, painting and more.
Most recently Megan has been running children’s art workshops, which have introduced young people to many artistic techniques and artists.


All classes and workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made 7 days, or more in advance of the workshop or class date will receive 100% credit. 6 days before class, and no credit will be issued.
