Pet & Animal Portraits in Chalk Pastel – Hands-On Art Class!
Join me for a fun and interactive art class where you'll learn how to paint a custom portrait of your pet—or any animal of your choice—using chalk pastels! With hands-on guidance, you'll explore basic color, value, and lighting theory while discovering techniques to bring your subject to life. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll leave with a beautiful pastel painting to treasure.
No prior experience needed—just bring your creativity and a reference photo of your animal!
Supply List:
Pastel Paper (Claire Fontaine Pastelmat Paper preferred). Whatever size you would like to use.
Set of pastel sticks in earth tones
Set of pastel pencils
Kneaded eraser
Utility knife or pencil sharpener
Sofft brand blending tools (or other)
All classes and workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made 7 days, or more in advance of the workshop or class date will receive 100% credit. 6 days before class, and no credit will be issued
