As my design career developed I worked as an Art Director for Maclean’s, Vancouver, and Western Living Magazine. In 1986 I formed my own design company Chris Dahl Creative and clients included UBC, SFU, Vancouver Canucks and The Vancouver Symphony.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy paintings, prints and photographs have been exhibited at the Vancouver Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Canada, National Film Board Gallery and Harrison Galleries (Vancouver). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbout 10 years ago – wanting to try something new – I started working with clay and fell in love with the fun of making objects – art that is not so precious and can actually be used. Recently I also moved from oil on canvas to stylus and tablet for my paintings and I enjoy the spontaneity of this new medium.
