Combining watercolour painting with ink linework for quick and effective small paintings
Suitable for beginners or those with experience.
Record your world with these fun little watercolour and ink sketches. These charming little paintings are quick and deceivingly easy to do as the ink line drawing forgives many errors in the watercolour painting making this method relaxing and stress free. Useful for sketching on location or painting in the comfort of home or studio from photos you have taken.
We will begin with some simple exercises in watercolour the first morning to understand how the paint works with water on paper. For the rest of the class we will be working on small paintings with ink embellishments for definition and effect. We will do at least one landscape and one other subject over the weekend.
A supply list is provided upon purchase of workshop.
Please note: Contemporaneous health guidelines will be in place. Students must bring their own water containers as well as paper towels.
All classes and workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the workshop or class date, will receive a 100% credit.
