This course will cover the art of needle felted sculpture making using the enchanting Orcas of the Salish Sea as our inspiration. Participants will explore wool shaping, surface finishing, creating flat pieces as fins, and sewing in beaded eyes. We will discuss various approaches to constructing a hanging mobile with our felted wool orcas, and other ways to display felted sculptures.
*No experience is necessary, as needle felting is an art with accessible technique, and is easy to learn.
