This course is a two day workshop. We will to learn styles of creative backgrounds in order to enhance the composition of flowers in vases, in fields, or where your imagination takes you within an impressionistic painting. Using the background as a starting point, florals will then developed in your composition on the canvas. Then we will paint ‘florals we love’ within a vase, field or elements of your choice. We will loosely develop a flower, or multiple of flowers, using brushes and palette knives. Brushstrokes and/or palette
knives will be the best tools for enhancing petals on a flower!

BRING flowers of your choice, paintings, photos; any inspiration you have been wanting to try! I will most likely demonstrate sunflowers and fields of flowers.
Come join our community and celebrate spring! There will be lots of !why"s" and !how"s and any questions/discussions you wish to have on this style of painting.

Bio
I am a local artist who has been painting most of my life and have become a more serious artist in the last twelve years. I like to explored styles and mediums with numerous master artists which has defined my style as a painter with colour and impressions of our local landscapes and wildlife. I wish to bring joy and a story to my paintings.
All classes and workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made 7 days, or more in advance of the workshop or class date will receive 100% credit. 6 days before class, and no credit will be issued.
